David Naghi ready to bring change to Maidstone & Malling
The 2024 General Election campaign is officially underway. Maidstone & Malling finally has the chance to bring the local representation we deserve. We have been preparing for months and are ready to win this two-horse race. I am ready to serve our community and bring the change to our area we need. It is time to put Maidstone & Malling first.
This year provides our community the opportunity many of us have been needing for a long time: to have the local representation that will serve on the priorities that truly matter to us.
It has been 14 years of Tory chaos and neglection. Maidstone & Malling has not received the attention from the MP’s that it deserves. Having lived in Maidstone ever since I was three years old, I have experienced the neglection of our area first hand.
Ever since becoming a councillor for Maidstone in 2002, I have done my utmost best to serve our community. I believe my re-election year upon year, all the way to our recent local elections, reflects the confidence that residents have in myself to serve them.
Becoming Mayor in 2018 was the biggest honour of my life, and I was proud to be able to pledge my support to so many great causes during this year. I strive to become the MP that will serve our community and the priorities that will help to make Maidstone & Malling better for all.
Our new constituency presents us with a new opportunity. Many people feel a connection to the wider area and the merging of the two previous constituencies now feels like one community. We can now work together to bring our local issues back to the forefront.
I have only one intention, as I have done so in my 20+ years as a public representative; to serve our community. Click here to see the priorities I will focus on for Maidstone & Malling.
I look forward to seeing many of you in the coming weeks as we embark on the official campaign. Months of preparation, and years of dreaming of this opportunity, has now led to us the 4th of July. A vote for David Naghi is a vote for change, in what will be a two-horse race between Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives.
